About the Boston Chapter

The greater Boston area has one of the most vibrant start-up communities in the world: routinely, it ranks in the top 5 in the world.

The area graduates more scientists and engineers than any other place in the US. And of course the area is home to some of the finest universities in the world.  Boston has enormous core strengths in tech derived from MIT, Harvard, and other universities and has a long history cutting edge computer science technology, engineering and life science research.

Compared to Silicon Valley, proportionally there are more investments in the life sciences, investments which are built of many of the strengths of greater Boston academic, medical and business communities. There are more than 1000 biotech companies, as well as world leading academic research and life science centers.

Augmenting the area’s natural strengths, Keiretsu Boston brings investments from outside New England to local investors and exposes local companies to investors around the world.
