San Francisco-based real-time online content organizer Informifi (http://informifi.com) today announced the completion of its Series A financing. The financing was led by San Francisco-based Walden Venture Capital (http://waldenvc.com) and the Keiretsu Forum (http://keiretsuforum.com), and also included participants from Harvard Angels and North Bay Angels. Proceeds from the financing will be used to invest in the growth of the company, hire into the technical and product teams and continue to expand and scale Informifi's verticals.
"This is an exciting moment for Informifi, and a great opportunity for us to continue building our unique approach to content organization," said Niko Vuori, founder and CEO of Informifi. "We're thrilled to have the resources and support from new investors to allow us to deliver the most relevant content to consumers and to build new products based on our technology platform."
"Walden Venture Capital has a history of backing promising entrepreneurs with breakthrough technologies over the last 35 years," said Art Berliner, Managing Director of Walden Venture Capital. "We look forward to working with Niko and his team as they pursue their vision to organize the real-time web with their proprietary content creation methodologies."
"The Keiretsu Forum is very excited to be investing in this cutting-edge technology company. Informifi's revenue and market share growth are already significantly ahead of our expectations," added Phil Solk, representing the Keiretsu Forum.
In conjunction with the financing, Informifi will be welcoming Art Berliner, managing director of Walden Venture Capital, and Phil Solk from the Keiretsu Forum to the board of directors.
