About the Waterloo-Wellington Chapter
The Waterloo-Wellington region is home to one of Canada’s most vibrant startup cultures. Driven by a highly passionate and dynamic group of investors, incubators, accelerators, entrepreneurs, and a world-class University, the region consistently produces globally scalable tech companies.
The Waterloo-Wellington chapter was formed exactly one year after the Keiretsu Forum Central Canada was established in March of 2012. Along with the Toronto chapter, the growing Keiretsu Central Canada region aims to identify regional companies and expose them to the wider global Keiretsu network, allowing them to expand their distribution and investor reach.
With a goal of identifying and funding great companies, our members share a diverse array of subject matter expertise within our growing regional network.
Keiretsu Forum Central Canada aims to work with accredited investor members, entrepreneurs, government organizations, existing angel platforms, venture capital firms, universities and the wider investment community to continuously address the various challenges and opportunities to build a more globally competitive platform for Canadian companies.
